Why a Drone?

Drone vs Helicopter vs Airplane

Why a drone over a helicopter or airplane?
Drones have already begun replacing helicopters and airplanes
for photo, video, and other services.

Cost Savings is the biggest and foremost reason; flying a drone is much cheaper than the operational, pilot training, and repair costs of helicopters and airplanes.  Drones can also get into tighter or more confined places than helicopters or airplanes. It is also safer for everyone on the ground using a drone than having low flying airplanes or helicopters.  Less noise = happy neighbors (neighbors don't even know we're there).  A hovering helicopter or airplane captures the attention and can disturb of the whole neighborhood especially at night! We can also wait out the weather on the ground or any temporary issue that blocks the shot.  Weather, sun angles, ground crew issues and other interruptions result in a helicopter or airplane having to needlessly hover or land, wait, and relaunch... a big waste of money and time.  Every minute of aircraft time is expensive.  If something changes in the middle of shooting, you can just talk to the drone pilot face to face and he or she can adjust to the customer's needs. We can even sometimes (if arranged ahead of time), supply you with your imagery before we leave the site!

How do I know all these things?
Because of my years as a commercial helicopter & airplane pilot and photographer. For any client who prefers helicopters and airplanes, we can do that, too! But we urge you to give drones a try:  Drones are the way of the future and we ask you to trust us with your business. Let us show you what we can do for you.
